Planning Your Newborn Session

When to Enquire

Before Birth

You can enquire during pregnancy and discuss how the session date will be adjusted around the actual birth date.

First Two Weeks

Some families prefer an earlier session; the approach should still follow your baby's individual needs.

Later Sessions

Newborn photographs can also be planned later, with poses and timing adapted to your baby.

Preparation Tips

  • Feeding: Follow your baby's usual feeding plan and bring what you normally need
  • Bring Diapers: We'll need plenty for changes during the session
  • Pack Snacks: For parents during the extended session
  • Comfortable Clothing: For parents if including family photos
  • Special Items: Bring meaningful props like family heirlooms
  • Flexible Schedule: Keep time around the session open until the final duration is confirmed

Plan Your Newborn Session

Share your due date or baby's birth date, preferred session type, family members to include, and any questions about comfort, props, or the session environment.
